Abstract

"COMPRESSOR UTILIZANDO INVóLUCRO COM MOTOR NO LADO DE BAIXA PRESSãO E RESERVATóRIO DE óLEO NO LADO DE ALTA PRESSãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de compressor (10) que inclui um alojamento (12) com uma primeira câmara (14) de baixa pressão e uma segunda câmara (16) de alta pressão. Um motor (24) na primeira câmara (14) tem um eixo (30) que passa para dentro da segunda câmara (16). Um compressor (18) no alojamento (12) está operativamente conectado ao motor (24) pelo eixo (30). A segunda câmara (16) contém um reservatório de óleo (48) armazenando o óleo lubrificante para o compressor (18). Pela ação do compressor (18), o fluido na primeira câmara (14) é mantido na pressão de aspiração do compressor e o fluido na segunda câmara (16) é mantido na pressão de descarga do compressor. O óleo lubrificante é separado do fluido comprimido com um defletor (58) na câmara de alta pressão (16). Separação adicional do óleo pode ser executada usando um disco sobrecarregado (62) preso no eixo (30) na câmara de alta pressão (16).
