Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE LáGRIMAS ARTIFICIAIS CONTENDO UMA COMBINAçãO DE TRêS DEMULCENTES". São descritas composições de lágrimas artificiais aperfeiçoadas. As composições são formuladas preferivelmente como soluções isotónicas, estéreis. As soluções contêm uma combinação única de três demulcentes. As soluções também contêm preferivelmente um ou mais eletrólitos e podem conter também um tensoativo não iónico. As soluções proporcionam conforto ocular e são particularmente úteis em pacientes que estão experimentando uma secura de branda a moderada ou outra irritação da córnea. As soluções podem ser embaladas ou como um produto de dose única não preservado ou como um produto de doses múltiplas preservado. Os produtos de doses múltiplas contêm um sistema preservativo antimicrobiano muito brando e podem ser, conseqüentemente, aplicados freqüentemente no olho com pouco risco de irritação ocular atribuível aos componentes preservativos.
