Trata-se de um saco para ensacar produtos pulverulentos, em forma de grãos ou semelhante, no qual os produtos a serem ensacados são carregados por meio de um bico de enchimento pela corrente de ar, que transporta e impulsiona tais produtos até o interior do saco, o qual pode ser conformado por um par de folhas de papel, cada uma das quais pode ser permeável ao ar ou recoberta e impermeável ao ar. O saco tem extremidades opostas com dobras de fechamento superpostas, uma interna e outra externa, cada uma delas conformada com ambas as folhas de papel e ligadas entre si geralmente com adesivos. Uma das extremidades do saco tem uma abertura de carregamento, conformada em um vértice da mesma, entre as dobras de fechamento e uma parte pregada das folhas que fica por debaixo das dobras.
