Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA FACILITAR A TRANSFERêNCIA EM REDE DE áREA LOCAL SEM FIO". é revelado um método e aparelho para facilitar a transferência de um ponto de acesso da rede (NAP) que está disposto e construído para fornecer serviço a uma unidade de comunicação (CU) em um sistema de comunicação de salto de freq³ência. As operações que são efetuadas são: fornecer serviço entre a CU e o NAP em uma conexão, utilizando um primeiro padrão de salto de freq³ência (FHP) ; determinar que a conexão é adequada para descontinuação com base no RSSI ou na carga; enviar uma primeira mensagem que inclui uma ID para o NAP e u m cronograma para a CU aos NAPs vizinhos, a mensagem solicitando auxílio com o serviço no primeiro FHP; e receber uma segunda mensagem de um NAP vizinho, disposta e construída para fornecer conexões às CUs utilizando um segundo FHP, a segunda mensagem indicando que o auxílio pode ser fornecido pelo NAP vizinho.
