Abstract

"JUNTA DE VEDAçãO METáLICA ELáSTICA FECHADA". A junta metálica permite suportar esforços de aperto elevados sem provocar degradação da estanqueidade por deformação eventual. Ela é constituída de uma alma metálica (12) envolvida por uma bainha exterior (13) mais dúctil. Esta última compreende, do lado de superfícies de liberação (16) que devem ser paralelas e colocadas em frente de superfícies (1) que encerram a junta (10), uma parte saliente (14) colocada de modo deslocado em relação ao eixo mediano (M) da junta. Isto evita uma diminuição da pressão de contato da junta sobre as superfícies (1) durante o esmagamento quando a parte saliente está centrada.
