Abstract

"MéTODO DE SEPARAR SUSPENSãO E APARELHO PARA SEPARAçãO DE SUSPENSãO FLOCULANTE". Um método de separar suspensão, particularmente para tratamento de águas servidas onde a suspensão floculante é separada do líquido por filtração em uma camada fluidificada em uma coberta de lama, no qual os flocos são criados a partir da suspensão separada e a fluidificação é mantida pela corrente ascendente de líquido, ao passo que o líquido com suspensão ingressa na camada fluidificada a partir do fundo e o líquido liberado da suspensão é descarregado acima da superfície da coberta de lama representada pela interface entre a camada fluidificada e o líquido sem suspensão. A suspensão separada espessada na forma de flocos provenientes de uma coberta de lama é extraída da zona da camada fluidificada, a velocidade de fluxo ascendente na camada fluidificada essencialmente decrescendo na direção ascendente. O aparelho para a realização deste método contém um separador (1) que se alarga para cima munido de entrada (5, 38,, 59 de suspensão tratada em uma sua parte inferior, e munido de dispositivos para extração do líquido sem suspensão na sua parte superior. Um separador (1), o espaço interno do qual contém um espaço de separação é munido de pelo menos um ponto de extração da suspensão espessada do espaço de separação que está disposto acima da entrada (5, 38, 59) de acesso ao interior do separador (1), predominantemente na sua superfície de parede externa (2) ou de paredes externas (33, 34, 50, 51) e abaixo da superfície da coberta de lama.
