Abstract

"COMPENSAçãO DE MOVIMENTO PARA VìDEO ESCALONáVEL POR GRANULAçãO FINA". Um aparelho de dados de video escalonável por granulação fina, método e estrutura de dados é descrito. Um codificador (110) para a codificação dos dados de vídeo de entrada como dados de macrobloco de taxa de bit mínima para produzir dados DCT possuindo coeficientes DCT que representam uma versão de taxa de bit mínima dos dados de macrobloco. O codificador (110) também codifica os dados de vídeo de entrada como dados de macrobloco de taxa de bit intermediária para produzir dados DCT possuindo coeficientes DCT que representam uma versão de taxa de bit intermediária dos dados de macrobloco. Um compensador de movimento adaptativo (132) (se incorporado no codificador ou fora do mesmo) se comunica com o codificador para prever se uma versão decodificada dos dados de macrobloco de taxa de bit intermediária possui uma energia de frame de erro previsto acumulado que exceda um limite máximo (238).
