Abstract

"LADRILHO PARA CONSTRUçãO". Ele possui várias camadas na sua estrutura: a camada inferior (2, 2<39>, 2") é uma base resistente de origem cerâmica ou assemelhada; a camada superior é uma lâmina (1) com uma superfície visível. As duas são grudadas por um adesivo que define uma camada intermediária homogênea (3) sem a formação de zonas frágeis em decorrência da ausência de bolhas de ar, uma vez que a face de contacto da base cerâmica (2, 2<39>, 2") é abaulada, sendo o ponto central mais alto do que o restante. Para impedir que o adesivo excedente seja escoado para fora e fique grudado a outros ladrilhos adjacentes, proporcionou-se a base cerâmica ou assemelhada (2, 2<39>, 2") de forma a incluir um flange periférico (5, 5<39>) que será então eliminado durante a fase de usinagem das bordas quando da formação do ladrilho. O flange perimetral (5, 5<39>) incorpora vantajosamente algumas projeções laterais ou batentes de centralização (6) da lâmina defrontante (1) a fim de otimizar a prensagem.
