Abstract

"MéTODO PARA LIGAR UMA JANELA A UM SUBSTRATO SEM UM PRIMER E SEU USO". A presente invenção e um processo para ligar vidro a um substrato sem a necessidade de imprimar a superfície do substrato. O processo compreende, primeiro, tratar a superfície do substrato com plasma de ar, aplicar à superfície do substrato ou à superfície do vidro um adesivo capaz de ligar-se ao substrato tratado e ao vidro, e contatar o vidro e o substrato com o adesivo disposto entre o substrato e o vidro, e permitir que o adesivo cure. Preferivelmente, o substrato é revestido com um revestimento. Adesivos preferidos são poliuretanos ou adesivos elastoméricos com funcionalidade silano. O processo da invenção permite a ligação de a um substrato sem a necessidade de usar um primer no substrato antes da aplicação do adesivo. O processo é especialmente eficaz para facilitar a ligação de vidro a substratos revestidos, especialmente substratos revestidos com revestimentos resistenes a ácidos tais como o revestimento de carbamato da PPg ou os revestimentos Gen III, IV e V da DuPont.
