Abstract

"MéTODO E DISPOSITIVO PARA AUMENTAR A SEGURANçA DURANTE ASSENTAMENTO DE TUBULAçõES". A presente invenção se refere a um método e dispositivo para evitar a penetração de água dentro de uma seção intermediária/parte em elevação (12) de uma tubulação (6), quando do assentamento da tubulação (6) sobre ou próximo ao fundo do mar (8) através de uma embarcação de assentamento de tubulação (1), em que um tampão (22) que promove vedação, percorre e bloqueia a passagem interna da tubulação (6) é disposto dentro da tubulação (6), entre a embarcação de assentamento (1) e o fundo do mar (8), onde o tampão (22) durante assentamento normal de tubulação é deslocado na tubulação (6), de modo a manter essencialmente sua posição relativa em relação à embarcação de assentamento (1), e em que no caso de circulação de água dentro da tubulação (6), o tampão (22) é bloqueado na tubulação (6) em um modo de vedação, pelo que a água é impedida de encher a seção intermediária/parte em elevação (12) da tubulação (6).
