Abstract

"SISTEMA DE CONTROLE DE MOLA DE AR PARA UMA EIXO DE SUSTENTAçãO DO VEìCULO". Um sistema de suspensão/eixo do tipo de sustentação de um veículo de carga pesada inclui molas de ar de percurso para fornecer suporte de carga de veículo quando o sistema é abaixado, e uma ou mais molas de ar de sustentação para levantar seletivamente o sistema quando tal suporte de carga adicional é desnecessário ou quando a maior maneabilidade de veículo é desejada. Um aparelho integra e simultaneamente controla os sistemas de operação para as molas de ar de sustentação e de percurso. O aparelho de controle inclui uma pluralidade de condutos e válvulas que permitem que o ar pressurizado das molas de ar de sustentação seja rapidamente fornecido para as molas de r de percurso quando o sistema está sendo abaixado. O ar adicional suplementa a fonte normal de ar da fonte de ar comprimido do veículo para assegurar ar suficiente e conveniente para operação suave e eficiente das molas de ar de percurso sem arqueamento ou dobradura excessiva, mantendo assim a pressão de ar de veículo total adequada necessária para operar outros componentes de veículo.
