A presente invenção provê componentes melhorados para a cimentação de poços em ambientes frios onde a temperatura do cimento que circula é normalmente de 5 a 20<198>C. Os componentes melhorados de cimento para poços detêm um fluido aquoso, um fixador de cimento hidráulico e um aditivo de aceleração constituído de nitrato de metal alcalino-terroso ou álcali-terroso e de nitrito de metal alcalino-terroso ou álcali-terroso.
