Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DE CONJUNTOS DE MEMBRANA-ELéTRODO USANDO MEMBRANAS REVESTIDAS COM CATALISADOR". A presente invenção se refere ao campo de células eletroquímicas e células de combustível, mais especificamente às células de combustível de polímero-eletrólito-membrana (PEM) e descreve um processo para fabricação de conjuntos de membrana-elétrodo (MPAS) contendo cinco camadas. O MEA de cinco camadas é montado por meio de um processo de laminação envolvendo um componente adesivo. A camada de difusão de gás de ânodo, a membrana revestida com catalisador e a camada de difusão de gás de elétrodo são combinadas por um processo de laminação de temperatura baixa/pressão baixa. o manuseio dos MEAs e montagem dos produtos em pilhas de PEMFC e DMFC é simplificado. Isto provê menos dano e perfuração da membrana revestida com catalisador e, assim, o desempenho do MEAs de cinco camadas é significativamente aperfeiçoado.
