Abstract

"ANEL DE VEDAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um anel de vedação (12) que apresenta um corpo de base (15) em forma de anel, responsável de modo determinante pela estabilidade de forma, que contém em, pelo menos, um lado axial, uma ranhura anular, na qual está fixado um corpo de vedação (16) constituído de material elástico de borracha. O corpo de vedação (16) se sobressai com um rebordo de vedação (24) axialmente através do corpo de base (15). A capacidade volumétrica da ranhura anular (25) corresponde, pelo menos, ao volume do corpo de vedação (16), de tal modo que a ranhura anular (25) está na situação de receber, durante a admissão e a deformação do rebordo de vedação (24), também o material do corpo de vedação (16) que define esse rebordo de vedação (24).
