Abstract

"MéTODO PARA RECEBER EM UM TERMINAL MóVEL UM SINAL DE SERVIçO, TERMINAL MóVEL ADEQUADO PARA RECEBER INFORMAçãO DE UMA PLURALIDADE DE TRANSMISSORES SEM FIOS, SISTEMA DE RADIODIFUSãO DIGITAL, E, MéTODO PARA RECEBER UMA SéRIE DE SINAIS DE SERVIçO". Um sistema e método são expostos para prover transferência de passagem livre de interrupção em um terminal móvel. Primeiro e segundo sinais de serviço radiodifundidos por transmissores sem fios correspondentes são recebidos e dados de sinal são derivados dos sinais de serviço. Se os dados de sinal do primeiro transmissor sem fios satisfizer um primeiro critério predefinido (67) e se os dados de sinal do segundo transmissor sem fios satisfizerem um segundo critério predefinido (79), a recepção é comutada do primeiro transmissor sem fios para o segundo transmissor sem fios depois que uma parte predefinida do sinal de serviço foi recebida (87).
