Abstract

"PAPEL E MATERIAIS E PROCESSOS PARA A SUA PRODUçãO". Papel é produzido provendo-se uma emulsão aquosa aniónica de uma goma, usualmente uma goma de anidrido reativo, e misturando-a com uma suspensão celulósica antes de drenagem da suspensão para formação de uma folha, a qual é, a seguir, secada, para fornecer papel (incluindo papelão). A emulsão é, de preferência, estabilizada total ou principalmente por 0,5 a 30 partes em peso (por parte em peso de goma) de um estabilizador polimérico, aniónico, solúvel em água, o qual é, de preferência, um amido aniónico. Alternativamente, a emulsão pode ser adicionada à suspensão celulósica, enquanto ela estiver aniónica, antes de misturar a retenção na mesma. A emulsão pode ser adicionada à suspensão celulósica, depois que auxiliar de retenção catiónico tiver sido a ela adicionado, a emulsão sendo adicionada antes, durante ou depois da mistura de material microparticulado aniónico ou outro auxiliar de aglutinação aniónico, antes da drenagem da suspensão.
