Abstract

"VáLVULA DE DIAFRAGMA E ELEMENTO DE ABERTURA/FECHAMENTO PARA REFERIDA VáLVULA". A invenção se refere a uma válvula de diafragma (5), que compreende um corpo de válvula (1), composto de uma luva de admissão (3) e uma luva de descarga (4), convergentes para uma câmara de fluxo de fluido que contém a sede de válvula (106), formada pela superfície de intersecção achatada das duas luvas (3, 4), cuja câmara é dividida em duas partes, uma sendo integrada no corpo de válvula (1), e a outra consistindo de uma coberta (2) a ser vedavelmente assentada no corpo de válvula (1), um diafragma elástico (5) sendo provido, que tem um flange periférico (105) a ser apertado entre os dois flanges periféricos (101, 102) das duas partes da câmara, a última sendo conectada a uma parte em forma de domo central (305) que, pelo uso de meios apropriados situados entre o domo (305) e a coberta (2), pode ser comprimida contra a sede de válvula (106), impedindo, desse modo, qualquer fluxo de fluido a partir da luva de admissão (3) para a luva de descarga (4). De acordo com a invenção, a seção transversal das duas luvas (3, 4), perto da sede de válvula (106), é achatada na direção de fluxo, e alongada na direção transversal deste, de tal maneira a formar um orifício substancialmente elíptico, pelo qual o domo (305) do diafragma (5) tem a forma de um setor de uma elipsóide, cujo plano de seção corresponde ao referido orifício da câmara de pressão.
