Abstract

"PLACA DE TORQUE DE FREIO E MéTODO DE INSTALAçãO". Uma placa de torque de freio (14) e um método de instalação, para junção fixa da placa (14) a um tubo de eixo (11) inclui a placa (14), constituída com uma abertura (24) e um corte contínuo (25), estendendo-se entre a borda periférica (23) da placa (14) e a abertura (24), em que o diâmetro da abertura (24) é menor do que o do tubo de eixo (11) . O corte (25) possibilita que a placa de torque(14) seja temporariamente expandida para instalação do tubo de eixo (11), por meio de um dispositivo de expansão (26) até que o diâmetro de orifício seja maior do que o do tubo de eixo (11). Sob montagem da placa de torque (14) no tubo de eixo (11), o dispositivo de expansão (26) é removido para redução do diâmetro da abertura (24), com isso criando um ajuste por interferência entre a placa de torque (14) e o tubo de eixo (11) e minimizando ou eliminando o espaçamento entre a abertura de placa (24) e o tubo de eixo para assegurar uma perpendicularidade entre a linha central do tubo de eixo (11) e as faces de lateral interna (22) e externa (21) da placa de torque.
