Abstract

"GEOGRADE, MéTODOS DE PRODUZIR UMA GEOGRADE E UMA ESTRUTURA DE MALHA E DE REFORçAR UM MATERIAL PARTICULADO, ESTRUTURA DE MALHA, MATERIAL PARTICULADO E CONSTRUçãO DE GEO-ENGENHARIA". Para produzir uma geograde de material plástico orientado (10) no qual fios orientados (6,9) formam malhas triangulares com junções (11) em cada canto e seis dos fios (6,9) se encontram em cada junção (11), um material de partida de folha de material plástico tem orifícios em uma disposição de hexágonos, os orifícios opostos de cada hexágono sendo alinhados na direção da máquina, e o material de partida é estirado primeiramente na direção da máquina e posteriormente na direção transversal. Na eventual geograde (10), as porções centrais dos hexágonos no material de partida formam junções (11). Os centros das junções (11) são ligeiramente biaxialmente orientados, mas nas bordas das junções (11), a orientação da borda de substancialmente cada fio (6) ou (9) decorre em torno da borda da respectiva junção (11) e para no interior da borda do próximo fio (6) ou (90). Durante o segundo estiramento, sujeição pode ser aplicado na primeira direção de estiramento e descontinuada antes de ser permitido que o material se relaxe na segunda direção de estiramento. Se desejado, o procedimento pode ser terminado após o primeiro estiramento, para produzir uma geograde uniaxialmente orientada. Pelo uso de um material de partida que tem orifícios transpassantes e zonas de enfraquecimento, é possível formar a geograde da invenção a partir de um material de partida tendo uma disposição retangular de orifícios transpassantes.
