Abstract

Sistema e método de separação de material transportado por fluido e sistema de recuperação de fibras Um sistema para filtrar material transportado por fluido a partir de um fluido que carrega material particulado junto com o material, por exemplo, para filtrar fibras utilizáveis na água branca da produção de papel ou tecido que também contém material de rejeito tal como finos e cinzas. O sistema emprega uma tela flexível e dobrável a que o fluido é aplicado. A tela é suportada de uma maneira suspensa a partir de uma moldura. O fluido é direcionado sobre uma superfície interior definida pela tela e a localização em que o fluido bate na tela é feita variar de forma a resultar no encurvamento e flexão da tela devido à flexibilidade e dobrabilidade do material da tela. Desta maneira, a configuração das passagens de drenagem da tela é continuamente alterada, de modo a prover uma ação de autolimpeza que impede que as passagens da tela entupam ou bloqueiem. Numa forma, a tela é geralmente troncocónica eo fluido é aplicado à superficie interior da tela de um modo que resulta na rotação da tela. O material retido na tela é direcionado para uma abertura de descarga definida oela extremidade inferior da tela trococónica e a água de rejeito incluindo matéria particulada passa através da tela e é coletada num tanque de coleta de água de rejeito. Noutra forma, a tela é suspensa de uma armação de modo a formar uma configuração de canal tendo uma extremidade de descarga aberta. A armação é móvel quer numa axial quer numa direção transversal, de modo a ocasionar movimento da tela e a obter a flexão e encurvamento pretendidos da tela, para autolimpar as passagens de drenagem da tela.
