Abstract
"USO DE CATALISADORES DE COBRE SOBRE SUPORTE DE METAL PARA REFORMAR áLCOOIS". Esta invenção refere-se a um processo para reformar um álcool. O processo compreende contatar um álcool em contato com um catalisador de reforma compreendendo cobre na superfície de uma estrutura de suporte de metal, preferencialmente uma estrutura de suporte de esponja de metal compreendendo níquel. Em uma determinada modalidade preferencial, hidrogênio produzido pelo processo de reforma é usado como uma fonte de combustível para uma célula de combustível de hidrogênio gerar energia elétrica, particularmente para acionar um veículo.
