Abstract

"GENES PATóGENO-RESPONSIVOS, PROMOTORES, ELEMENTOS DE REGULAçãO, E MéTODOS DE USO PARA OS MESMOS". A presente invenção se refere a polipeptídeos regulados por nematódeos, a seq³ências de nucleotídeos codificantes dos mesmos e a elementos de regulação e seu uso na criação ou aperfeiçoamento de resistência a patógenos em plantas. São descritos os constructos de ácido nucléico compreendendo uma seq³ência de controle por nematódeos operacionalmente ligada a um promotor, ou outra seq³ência de nucleotídeos operacionalmente ligada a uma região reguladora nematódeo-específica, bem como são providos os vetores, as células de planta, as plantas e as sementes transformadas contendo tais constructos. São também providos os métodos para o uso de tais constructos na repressão ou indução de seq³ências de controle por nematódeos em uma planta. Adicionalmente são providos métodos para conferir ou aperfeiçoar a resistência a patógenos em plantas pela repressão ou indução de seq³ências de controle por nematódeos ou por expressão espacialmente ou temporalmente dirigida para a invasão de patógenos.
