Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A PURIFICAçãO DE UM LANTIBIóTICO". Trata-se de um método para a purificação de um lantibiótico a partir de uma solução bruta ou parcialmente purificada contendo o lantibiótico. Em modalidades preferidas, o lantibiótico é nisina, embora as características estruturais comuns de lantibióticos ditem a eficácia dos métodos de purificação descritos para outros membros do gênero lantibiótico. O método inclui a etapa de formar uma mistura de incubação compreendendo a solução contendo o lantibiótico e uma enzima proteolítica e incubar a mistura sob condições otimizadas para atividade proteolítica seletiva.
