Abstract

"MICROORGANISMOS METABOLICAMENTE ENGENHEIRADO E GENETICAMENTE TRANSFORMADO, E, MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR UM PRODUTO METABóLICO DESEJADO". Um microorganismo metabolicamente engenheirado tem um primeiro caminho metabólico operativo em que um primeiro metabólito é transformado em um segundo metabólito em uma reação em que NAD é um cofator para uma primeira enzima, adequadamente uma desidrogenase de fosforilação, a dita etapa de reação produzindo NADH. O dito segundo metabólito é transformado em pelo menos um outro metabólito em uma reação catalisada por uma segunda enzima, adequadamente uma cinase. O organismo tem um segundo caminho metabólico operativo caracterizado por uma atividade enzimática em excesso de um nível nativo em relação a uma terceira enzima, adequadamente uma desidrogenase que não de fosforilação, por exemplo GAPN, que catalisa uma reação não reversível em que NADP é um cofator e NADPH é um produto. O dito primeiro metabólito é transformado em um dito outro metabólito sem o envolvimento da dita segunda enzima.
