Abstract

"EQUIPAMENTO E MéTODO PARA PROVER POTêNCIA DE ATUAçãO A UMA SUPERFìCIE DE CONTROLE DE VÈO DE AERONAVE, E AERONAVE". Equipamento (10) para prover potência de atuação a uma superfície de controle de vóo de aeronave. O equipamento inclui um primeiro atuador (16) e um segundo atuador (13), onde o segundo atuador possui um modo de 'bypass' e um modo auxiliar. O modo do segundo atuador é determinado por meio de uma pressão diferencial interna através do primeiro atuador. O equipamento adicionalmente inclui uma válvula de seleção de modo (40) para selecionar entre o modo de 'bypass' e o modo auxiliar para o segundo atuador, e uma válvula solenóide (48) que quando energizada induz a válvula de seleção de modo (40) a selecionar o outro modo para o segundo atuador. Quando o segundo atuador está no modo de 'bypass', o primeiro atuador proporciona a potência de atuação para a superfície de controle de vóo da aeronave. Porem, quando o segundo atuador está no modo auxiliar, ambos o primeiro e o segundo atuadores proporcionam a potência de atuação para a superfície de controle de vóo da aeronave. Conseq³entemente, o equipamento permite que a superfície de controle de vóo seja operada em um modo mais eficiente com menos fluxo hidráulico sendo requerido.
