Abstract
"MéTODO PARA REMOVER E RECUPERAR UM CATALISADOR DE CIANETO DE METAL DUPLO DE UM POLIOL". Um método para remover e recuperar um catalisador de cianeto de metal duplo (DMC) a partir de um poliol é revelado. Um ácido polimérico que e solúvel no poliol é introduzido no poliol durante ou após a reação de polimerização. O ácido polimérico reage com o catalisador de cianeto de metal duplo assim fazendo o catalisador de cianeto de metal duplo e o ácido polimérico formarem uma aglomeração no poliol. A aglomeração é facilmente separada do poliol por meio de filtração, por exemplo. O catalisador de DMC aglomerado restabelecido pode depois ser reconstituído usando uma solução de ácido.
