Abstract

"ARTIGOS UNIDOS POR INJEçãO E MéTODOS". A presente invenção refere-se a artigos unidos por injeção compreendidos por um núcleo rígido e presos juntos por uma rede de material elastomérico a qual também forma vedações e encapsula pelo menos uma porção do núcleo rígido. O material elastomérico é selecionado para ser compatível com o material que compreende o núcleo rígido para criar uma união química e mecânica entre estes. As técnicas de união por injeção e de sobremoldagem são utilizadas para fabricar um espaçador de aparelho de eletrodesionização compreendido de segmentos rígidos acoplados presos por uma rede de material elastomérico unitária que também forma vedações internas e externas que fluidamente isolam um ou mais dos orifícios de entrada, das cavidades de resina, e dos orifícios de saída assim como dos orifícios vazados. As técnicas de união por injeção e de sobremoldagem podem também ser utilizadas para fabricar outros artigos compreendidos de múltiplos segmentos.
