Abstract
"CABO DE FIBRA óPTICA". é descrito um cabo de fibra óptica de telecomunicação e, em particular, um cabo óptico de diâmetro reduzido com características de instalação melhoradas para uso em uma parte de terminação de uma rede de telecomunicação de acesso. O cabo de fibra óptica compreendendo: diversas fibras ópticas; pelo menos um tubo de núcleo contendo as fibras ópticas; uma camisa envolvendo o tubo de núcleo; e pelo menos uma haste de reforço espaçada do eixo central, o cabo tendo uma rigidez de torção G * J~ p~, em que G é o módulo de cisalhamento elástico, e J~ p~ é o momento polar de inércia de uma seção do cabo, em que a rigidez de torção G * J~ p~ é menor ou igual a 0,10 Nm¬ 2¬, preferivelmente menor ou igual a 0,05 Nm¬ 2¬ e mais preferivelmente menor ou igual a 0,02 Nm¬ 2¬. O cabo pode ser proveitosamente instalado por um método de sopro.
