método e dispositivo para aperfeiçoar conteúdo de vídeo. trata-se de um dispositivo multifunção (cid) para aparelho de televisão e um método para aperfeiçoar o conteúdo de vídeo fornecido a um dispositivo de exibição do referido aparelho de televisão. o dispositivo multifunção (cid) compreende uma entrada (in) para receber dados de áudio/vídeo de uma fonte de dados de conteúdo de áudio/vídeo, uma saída (out) para emitir dados de áudio/vídeo para um dispositivo de exibição, e meios de comunicação para acessar a internet ou uma rede local para coletar dados adicionais. o dispositivo multifunção (cid) sendo conectado e alimentado por uma interface comum (ci) configurados para receber primeiros dados de imagem (im1) da entrada (in), um conversor para converter os referidos dados adicionais (ad) da internet ou de uma rede local e converter os referidos dados adicionais (ad) em dados de imagem adicionais (adc), de imagem adicionais (adc) com todos ou parte dos primeiros dados de imagem de entrada (im1) para obter segundos dados de imagem (im2) a serem encaminhados para a saída (out) conectada ao dispositivo de exibição.
