Abstract
o método é realizado para produzir continuamente um gás metano liquefeito (lmg) a partir de uma corrente de alimentação de gás metano misturado pressurizado liquefeito. ele é particularmente bem adaptado para uso em uma instalação de produção distribuída de lmg relativamente pequena, por exemplo aquelas variando de 400 a 15000 mt por ano, e/ou quando a corrente de alimentação de gás metano misturado tem uma ampla faixa de proporções de teor de nitrogênio, incluindo nitrogênio estando substancialmente ausente. o conceito proposto pode também ser muito útil no projeto de instalações de média escala e/ou larga escala, incluindo aquelas onde o teor de nitrogênio sempre permanece acima de um certo limiar. os métodos e arranjos propostos aqui podem mitigar perdas de gás metano quando se exaure nitrogênio, por exemplo na atmosfera.
