Abstract
MÉTODOS PARA REJUVENESCER UM CABO BLOQUEADO POR PERNA E UM CABO DE BLOQUEIO POR PERNA. Método para rejuvenescer um cabo bloqueado por perna que tem um condutor composto por uma pluralidade de pernas condutoras com o volume intersticial entre elas bloqueado por mastique à base de PIB, em que o condutor é envolvido por um isolamento de cabo polimérico. O método compreende instalar adaptadores de injeção que vedam as extremidades do cabo e podem ser usados para injetar fluido no volume intersticial entre as pernas condutoras do cabo; expandir elasticamente o isolamento de cabo polimérico através da aplicação de pressão ao volume intersticial entre as pernas condutores do cabo; e injetar pelo menos um fluido de injeção no qual o mastique à base de PIB é pelo menos parcialmente solúvel no volume intersticial entre as pernas condutoras do cabo. Para facilitar a deformação elástica do isolamento de cabo polimérico, o cabo pode ser aquecido e mantido a uma temperatura T1 acima da temperatura ambiente durante a injeção.
