Abstract

ELEMENTO DE PIGAGEM RESPONSIVO À PRESSÃO, DEFORMÁVEL E AUTOINTEGRÁVEL PARA USO EM APLICAÇÕES DE PIGAGEM DE TUBULAÇÃO. Um elemento de pigagem de tubulação (10) que altera seu tamanho em uma direção axial e radial em função de pressão de tubulação aplicada. O elemento de pigagem inclui pelo menos duas zonas circunferenciais (13, 15) tendo módulo de seção diferente uma da outra, cada uma das zonas mudando em taxas diferentes uma da outra entre um estado não inflado e inflado na pressão de tubulação aplicada. O elemento de pigagem reage a mudanças em geometria de tubo, tendo um primeiro comprimento e um primeiro diâmetro a uma primeira pressão de tubulação aplicada e um segundo comprimento e um segundo diâmetro diferentes dos primeiros a uma segunda pressão de tubulação aplicada. À medida que o elemento de pigagem se desgasta, torna-se mais fácil inflar na pressão aplicada e contato de vedação com a parede de tubo permanece substancialmente inalterado. Não são necessárias bombas ou circuitos de fluido a bordo para inflar o elemento de pigagem.
