Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>"RECONSTRUçãO DE NAVIO PETROLEIRO"<D>. Processo de reconstrução de um navio-tanque de transporte de líquido, tal como um navio petroleiro, e navio reconstruído por meio do que um navio-tanque construído com um único casco inferior é construído com relação a uma configuração de casco inferior duplo, pelo menos sobre a porção do casco que inclui os tanques de carga, e à embarcação reconstruída assim obtida. O casco original é separado em um ponto onde a curva da proa encontra a seção de meia nau do casco. Uma nova seção é inserida, a qual seque a curvatura das proas originais, e aumenta tanto a vau como o calado d'água. Um novo fundo duplo é aplicado sobre o restante do espaço do tanque de carga do casco, que é afunilado para encontrar a curva da seção de popa. A nova seçã pode ser fabricada com ou sem um fundo duplo, dependendo do uso a que se destina.
