Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"NOVO MéTODO PARA O CONTROLE DA BIODEGRADAçãO"<D>. é descrito um novo método para o controle da biodegradação, a referida biodegradação sendo realizada por culturas mistas de micro organismos. As medições e os ajustes, (de preferência em linha (on - line)) de parâmetros do processo que se relacionam com a atividade de metabolismo dos micro organismos executadas de tal modo que são efetuadas ao mesmo tempo a nitrificação e a desnitrificação, no mesmo meio ambiente enquanto é mantida a concentração de oxigênio abaixo de 1 ppm. O método permite o uso de elevadas concentrações de biomassa (de até 20 Kg/m) e reduz o consumo de energia e o volume do processo de por exemplo os processos de lama ativado, economizando dessa forma os custos para a purificação de águas servidas. De um forma geral, o processo assegura condições ideais para os micro organismos no processo. Do mesmo modo, é descrito um método para a purificação de águas servidas, e uma instalação para purificação de águas servidas, os quais empregam o método para o controle da biodegradação. Finalmente, também é descrito um método para determinar os valores dos pontos ajustados que permitem o controle.
