Abstract

"MECANISMO DE ESTIRAMENTO DE FILME". Um mecanismo de pré-estiramento, para uso em um aparelho de empacotamento orbital por onde uma tira (6) de filme plástico é retirado de um rolo de alimentação (5) de filme e aplicado a um objeto a ser empacotado em virtude de movimento rotativo relativo do objeto e o rolo, compreende um rolo de frenagem (9) em contato com o rolo de alimentação, um rolo de estiramento (7) em contato com a tira e dispositivos de transmissão (10, 11, 12) conectando os rolos tal que a velocidade de superfície do rolo de estiramento na direção do movimento de filme excede aquela do rolo de frenagem naquela direção, onde o rolo de alimentação é montado por rotação nos travessões deslizáveis (16) e a pressão de contato ente o rolo de frenagem e alimentação devido a tensão na tira retirada é aumentada por molas de carregamento (18) a uma extensão tal que o deslizamento ocorre entre o rolo de alimentação e o rolo de frenagem antes da tensão de retirada na tira atinja um valor no qual a tira abaixaria e romperia.
