Abstract
<B>PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA DETECTAR ESCóRIA<D> São fornecidos um aparelho e um processo para detectar escória (19) em um fluxo de metal fundido (1) conduzido através de um aro reforço de colherão (11). No aparelho, primeiro (31) e segundo (33) pinos condutores são montados um ao lado do outro em uma parede (22) do aro de reforço de colherão (11), o primeiro (31) estando em contato com o fluxo de metal fundido (1), porém isolado eletricamente tanto da parede (22) como do segundo pino condutor (33), o segundo (33) estando em contato elétrico tanto com a parede como com o fluxo de metal fundido (1). Um voltímetro (34) é conectado entre os dois pinos condutores (31, 33) para detectar diferenças no potencial elétrico entre os mesmos à medida que metal fundido (1) flui através do aro de reforço (11).
