Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA VERIFICAçãO DA EFICáCIA DE UMA TERAPIA DE MANIPULAçãO". Descreve-se um processo para objetivamente verificar a eficácia de uma terapia de manipulação. O processo inclui executar um primeiro teste dermatomal de potenciais evocados somato sensorialmente (82) em um paciente (12) para estabelecer uma resposta de linha básica do período de latência do nervo. Uma técnica de terapia de manipulação (88) é então executada no paciente para liberar a compressão da raiz do nervo. Um segundo teste dermatomal de potenciais evocados somato sensorialmente (90) e, então, executado para estabelecer um período de latência do nervo após a manipulação.
