Abstract
Patente de Invenção:<B>"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA DETECTAR DEFEITOS DE SUPERFìCIE"<D>. Aparelho e método para detectar defeitos de superfície em um artigo mantendo-se livremente em um transportador que gera traço de perfil em uma seção transversal do artigo. Uma unidade de inspeção de formato de superfície compreendendo um sistema de determinação de alcance ótico usando-se laser e uma câmara é fornecida para obter os dados de traço de perfil através de técnicas de derivação à base de triangulação. As curvar de referência de base são derivadas das partes regulares dos dados de traço de perfil são comparados a curvas limites de defeito para reconhecer uma partida induzida por defeito dos dados de traço com respeito à curva de referência de base e para produzir um sinal de saída de defeito. O aparelho e método de acordo com a invenção são particularmente úteis para detectar aspereza, cavidades, chanfradura, ausência de madeira e madeira alterada em peças de madeira de construção que são transportadas em alta velocidade.
