Abstract

"TECLADO, E, MOSTRADOR ELETROLUMINESCENTE". Um dispositivo retroiluminado eletroluminescente (10) utilizando polímeros emissores de luz (LEP) é exposto. Um sanduíche (130) de material LEP (40) e dois materiais condutivos elétricos (130) são usados para prover retroiluminação para um teclado (25) ou mostrador. As camadas condutivas elétricas (50, 60) são gravadas para formar canais (100) que fornecem corrente para excitar o material LEP (40) para produzir luz em pontos predeterminados. As gravações são direcionadas ao redor de contatos elétricos existentes (35) para facilitar a operação normal do sistema hospedeiro subjacente, tal como um telefone celular.
