Abstract
<B>Patente de Invenção: "IMPLANTE INTERVERTEBRAL EXPANSìVEL"<D> A invenção se refere a implante intervertebral em forma de um corpo de suporte (1), que abrange um filete (2) central e pernas (3, 4) fixadas ao filete (2) em uma só peça. As pernas (3, 4) estão dispostas em dois planos (5, 6) se estendendo essencialmente paralelamente entre si, distanciados pelo filete (2), os quais são aplicáveis a corpos vertebrais vizinhos como áreas de apoio. O filete (2) apresenta um cilindro de guia oco (7), se estendendo essencialmente paralelamente às pernas (3, 4) e entre as mesmas, com ao menos uma rosca (8; 28). Um dispositivo de expansão pode ser inserido entre as pernas. O implante intervertebral provê várias vantagens, como se segue: o raio de lordose natural da coluna vertebral pode ser restabelecido de acordo com o paciente e esse ângulo pode ser determinado antes da operação, resultando assim para o implante ótimas condições básicas para seu crescimento interno; é usada uma técnica de inserção não-traumática, na medida em que o implante pode ser aparafusado de modo delicado e controlado, ao invés de ser encravado; e pode ser usada uma técnica de operação simplificada (também minimamente invasiva) em 3 etapas conduzida por meio de um pino de guia.
