Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"ENDOPRóTESE DE AUTO-EXPANSãO"<D>. é proporcionada uma endoprótese luminal compreendendo uma estrutura radialmente expansível (1), produzida a partir de filamentos inter-trançados. A estrutura (1) é auto-expansível, ou seja, que após a mesma ter sido radialmente comprimida para posicionamento da endoprótese, a mesma automaticamente recupera o seu diâmetro nominal. O metal da estrutura foi submetido a um tratamento térmico promovendo uma transição de estado, a uma temperatura próxima daquela do organismo e isto confere à mesma uma rigidez adequada após ter sido posicionado no conduto anatómico.
