Abstract
"MOLDE PARA A FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA DE CHAPAS DE AçO". Um molde melhorado para a fundição continua de chapas de aço com espessura na faixa de 50 a 120 mm, particularmente adequadas para serem enroladas em tiras finas, apresenta duas faces (F), cada uma tendo em seção transversal horizontal um zona central cóncava ou retilínea simétrica em relação uma com a outra, conectada em ambos os lados às faces estreitas (i) através das curvaturas abertas cóncava-convexa em relação à parte interna do molde, sem outros comprimentos sendo paralelos às porções opostas da outra face (F), além de um possível comprimento retilíneo central. Os raios da porção cóncava (r1) e da porção convexa (r2) estão proporção mútua de uma faixa de 0,6 a 1,4, estas porções sendo preferivelmente as mesmas em cada seção transversal horizontal do molde e aumentando para baixo, enquanto a profundidade (a) da concavidade decresça para baixo, sendo possivelmente constante a partir de uma altura (ybc) para a seção de saída, mas estando de preferência continuamente decrescendo ao longo de todo o comprimento do molde, com uma profundidade residual <243> 5 mm na zona de saída.
