A invenção refere-se a um processo para preparar compostos de ar(alqu)iluracila da fórmula geral (I), na qual A representa uma ligação simples ou representa alcanodiila, Ar representa arila substituída opcionalmente, R¹ representa alquila substituída opcionalmente e R² representa hidrogênio, halogênio ou alquila, e a intermediários novos para esse propósito e a processos para sua preparação.
