Abstract

APARELHO E SISTEMA PARA VENTILAR UMA TRANSMISSãO VEICULAR CONTENDO UM FLUIDO LUBRIFICANTE". Aparelho e sistema para ventilar uma transmissão (10) são descritos os quais provêem um respiro de transmissão (12) que permite a equalização de pressões entre o interior e exterior da transmissão enquanto reduzindo ou eliminando expulsão de fluido a partir da transmissão. O respiro compreende um tubo suporte (18), uma caneca (20) tendo uma primeira extremidade (70) presa ao tubo suporte e pelo menos uma abertura (80), uma capa (22) presa ao tubo suporte, e um filtro (90) disposto entre a caneca e o tubo suporte. O tubo suporte tem uma primeira extremidade (30), uma segunda extremidade (32) e uma porção intermediária (34) se estendendo axialmente entre as primeira e segunda extremidades. A segunda extremidade do tubo suporte tem pelo menos uma superfície (46) para transmitir torque ao tubo suporte para permitir o respiro ser acionado pelo topo para facilitar a instalação e remoção do respiro com a transmissão.
