Abstract
"PROCESSO DE POLIMERIZAçãO CONTìNUO". A presente invenção descreve um processo para sintetização de polímero de estireno-butadieno que compreende as etapa de: (1) carregar continuamente monómero 1,3-butadieno,um composto organolítio, um modificador polar e um solvente orgânico em uma primeira zona de polimerização, (2) permitir que o monómero 1,3-butadieno polimerize na referida zona de polimerização a uma conversão de pelo menos 90 por cento para produzir uma solução de polímero vivo que é composta do referido solvente orgânico e cadeias de poli-butadieno vivos dotados de uma série de peso molecular de número médio que está dentro da faixa de cerca de 20,000 a cerca de 60,000, (3) retirar continuamente a referida csolução de polímero vivo a partir da referida primeira zona de reação, (4) carregar continuamente divinil benzeno e a solução de polímero vivo sendo retirada a partir da primeira zona de polimerização em uma segunda zona de polimerização, (5) permitir que o monómero divinil benzeno reaja com as referidas cadeias de polibutadieno vivo da referida segunda zona de polimerização para alcançar um aumento na viscosidade de solução diluída do cimento de polímero de pelo menos cerca de 0,15 dl/g para produzir uma solução de polímero butadieno modifcado a divinilbenzeno vivo, (6) retirar continuamente a solução do referido polímero butadieno modificado a divinilbenzeno vivo partir da referida segunda zona de polimerização, (7) carregar continuamente estireno e o polímero butadieno modificado e divinilbenzeno vivo sendo retirado da referida segunda zona de polimerização para uma terceira zona de polimerização, (8) permitir que o estireno polimerize na terceira zona de polimerização para produzir uma solução de polímero estireno-butadieno tendo um número médio de peso molecular que está na faixa de cerca de 30,000 a cerca de 85,000 e (9) retirar continuamente a solução de polímero estireno-butadieno a partir da terceira zona de polimerização.
