Abstract

<B>MéTODOS E APARELHOS PARA CONTROLE DE TRANSFERêNCIAS DE FREQuêNCIAS EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO<D>. Transferências entre freq³ências em um sistema de comunicação sem fio (CDMA) ou outro sistema de comunicação sem fio são controladas utilizando uma métrica de disparo de cobertura limitada por ruído que é capaz de distinguir entre limites de célula da mesma freq³ência e limites de célula de outra freq³ência no sistema. A métrica de disparo pode ser gerada como uma função de uma medida de sinal-a-ruído média para sinais pilotos recebidos em uma estação móvel do sistema e uma soma linear as medidas de sinal-a-ruído. As medidas de sinal-a-ruído podem ser geradas na estação móvel e incluídas em mensagens transmitidas a partir da estação móvel para uma ou mais estações de base do sistema. A métrica de disparo é usada para controlar uma transferência a partir de uma freq³ência atual para uma freq³ência nova em uma chamada em andamento. A métrica de disparo pode ser baseada alternativamente em uma medida apenas de potência de recepção de estação móvel.
