Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO DO ALUMINIDO COM FASE DE VAPOR PULSADA PARA APLICAçõES DE REVESTIMENTO RESISTENTE A OXIDAçãO EM ALTA TEMPERATURA"<D>. Um processo melhorado para a aplicação de revestimentos de aluminido em componentes de superliga (10) usados nas aplicações de turbina a gás resultando em um revestimento mais uniforme com subprodutos residuais menos perigosos. O processo envolve as etapas de colocar os componentes da superliga (10) em uma retorta (20) com uma fonte contendo alumínio (30), evacuar o ar da retorta (20) e introduzir um gás inerte (50), aquecer a retorta (20) para uma temperatura pré-selecionada, enquanto mantendo a temperatura pré-selecionada purgar o gás inerte (50) da retorta pela introdução de gás hidrogênio (60), enquanto mantendo a temperatura pré-selecionada, pulsar, pela redução da pressão da retorta para uma pressão pré-selecionada abaixo da pressão atmosférica, seguido pela introdução de um gás contendo haleto (42) para reagir com a fonte contendo alumínio (30) para criar um vapor rico em alumínio que deposita alumínio sobre os componentes, depois introduzir novamente o gás hidrogênio (60) na retorta (20) para purificar os gases dentro da retorta (20); e esfriar a retorta (20).
