Abstract
<B>PROCESSO DE SEPARAçãO POR RECOMPRESSãO MECâNICA DE VAPOR<D> Há a revelação de um método e de um aparelho para remover um contaminante de uma corrente de alimentação de fluido que contenha o contaminante. O método inclui as etapas de fornecimento de uma corrente de alimentação (10) e de aquecimento da mesma em uma primeira etapa (18) para remover, pelo menos parcialmente, parte dos contaminantes e recuperar a energia de um concentrado e destilado gerado. O aquecimento adicional da corrente de alimentação, em uma segunda etapa de aquecimento (20), em um separador aquecido gera uma fração de vapor saturado (30) e uma fração de contaminante líquido concentrado. A fração de vapor (30) pode ser comprimida (32) para gerar um diferencial de temperatura no trocador refervedor (34), com a fração de vapor sendo passada em contato com um trocador refervedor (34), a fim de fornecer uma corrente de vapor condensado do refervedor. A corrente pode ser circulada através do trocador refervedor (34) e do separador aquecido para manter de aproximadamente 1% a aproximadamente 50% em vapor de massa na corrente.
