Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVOS MéDICOS FLEXìVEIS EMISSORES DE RAIO X"<D>. Trata-se de um dispositivo médico implantável de acordo com a presente invenção e compreende um corpo, tal como uma estrutura para manter aberto um orifício ou um fio, e um isótopo dotado de uma alta seção transversal de ativação de nêutron, tal como ^ 168^Yb ou ^ 124^Xe, íon implantada na superfície do corpo. O uso de isótopos dotados de alta seção transversal de ativação de nêutron permite uma escolha mais ampla de substratos a serem empregados, e incluem aço inoxidável, níquel, titânio, e ligas que incluem os referidos metais, pelo fato do tempo necessário para a ativação de nêutron do dispositivo ser reduzida.
