Abstract
''MéTODO PARA FABRICAR UM MATERIAL ABSORVENTE ESTRIADO OU PARTICULADO E ESTRUTURAS FORMADAS POR MEIO DO MESMO''. Descreve-se um método para fabricar um material absorvente estriado ou particulado para um artigo absorvente, como absorventes higiênicos, fraldas, dispositivos para incontinência, e similares. Mais particularmente, a presente invenção refere-se a um método como descrito acima, que pode ser conduzido in situ em outro componente do artigo absorvente, em um processo de fabricação, sem cortar o outro componente. Em uma modalidade, o material absorvente é colocado entre duas mantas portadoras, e uma força é aplicada sobre o compósito do material absorvente e mantas portadoras. A força rompe o material absorvente, mas somente deforma as mantas portadoras, para proporcionar uma manta auto-contida de material particulado entre duas mantas portadoras. As estruturas absorventes formadas por este método também estão descritas. Em uma modalidade, a estrutura absorvente compreende uma manta composta, de elementos distintos de material absorvente. A manta composta compreende pelo menos uma manta portadora e uma pluralidade de elementos distintos de material absorvente, arranjados em uma formação ordenada sobre a manta portadora.
